A full Month Yin Yoga Immersion for Teachers and Practitioners
Yin Yoga is medicine for the modern world. As we attempt to find balance in our fast-paced lives, the chance to sink into stillness, to connect to our center and truly relax, is a potent practice. This immersive Yin Yoga course with Lies is an inspiring program that will empower you to teach and share the healing practice of Yin Yoga. The course is designed to provide a foundation for teaching Yin Yoga skillfully, with compassion and awareness. Benefits of Yin Yoga include increased mindfulness, releasing blockages, improved energy flow, deeper levels of release, connection to self, and improved physical and mental well-being.
Discover the deep healing power of Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a highly mindful style of yoga practice where postures are practiced on the floor in a static way for an extended period of time. In this style, we position our body in a particular pose and then let go of the deeper muscular activity and surrender it to the floor for gravity to do the work. By doing so we relax our muscles and apply moderate stress to the deepest layers of connective tissues of the body—tendons, fascia, and ligaments—improving the health and mobility of joints. While in these poses we can begin to calm the mind and allow a deeper connection to self, heart, and mindfulness.

“I came to this training expecting to learn more about yin postures, TCM, yoga philosophy and yin anatomy and I got just that. I believe this is an excellent supplement to my 200-hour vinyasa teacher training. Lies and Lauren also brought in amazing guest teachers who added a lot of variety to the programme and enriched the schedule. Especially the sessions around meridian theory and TCM as well as the anatomy sessions with Bec Issacs, were eye opening for me and I will undoubtedly continue my study path beyond this training. Laxmivan tapped into a wealth of knowledge when he shared yoga philosophy with us, and I was stoked to learn from him. Lies and Lauren are both incredibly knowledgeable, and they effectively plan the classes while leaving time for breaks and self-study. On top of that, Lies and Lauren are highly accessible and can establish a trusted secure place in which students feel comfortable expressing themselves and connecting. The asana clinics were incredibly thorough, allowing us to explore all postures and numerous prop alternatives for different body types that we can teach in the future. With the 90-minute yin sessions in the morning, we were able to try all postures before discussing them, and Lies is an incredible yin teacher! The Krishna village was an excellent choice for a training setting. The scenery around us was beautiful, the cuisine was delicious and nutritious, and the accommodations were excellent. I had a lot of decent sleep during the training and yin immersion days. Thank you, Lies and Lauren, for such a wonderful, enriching week; I feel like I’ve gained so much, and I can’t wait to share it and delve deeper.”

“Within the framework of the teachers’ Yin Yoga Teacher training, I had a really healing experience. Because of the teachers and the way the schedule was set up, I felt quite secure. Lauren’s and Lies’ presence was incredibly encouraging, considerate, and motivating. The morning yin yoga sessions, where Lies taught according to the five elements, were my favourite. Her approach to teaching and the atmosphere of safety she fosters genuinely inspire me. My favourite parts of the programme were definitely the philosophy, yoga, and humanities classes with Lauren since we could all have in-depth discussions there. Her broad understanding and her capacity for engaging in a meaningful discussion about the social and spiritual dimensions of yoga were quite remarkable to me. those looking for a distinctive, secure, and instructive experience in Yin Yoga and beyond, I heartily suggest this training.”
